Practice Area: Tax - General, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 5 Years, A law firm based in Washington, D.C. is seeking a Mid to Senior level Tax Associate Attorney with the following responsibilities: Duties:Conducting advanced legal research and analysis on complex tax matters.Drafting and reviewing a wide range of legal documents including agreements, opinions, and tax filings.Providing strategic advice and guidance to clients on transactional tax issues.Leading and supervising junior associates on tax-related projects.Collaborating closely with securities and finance lawyers within the firm.Interacting with investment bankers, financial advisors, and government officials nationwide on tax-related matters. Requirements:Admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia.5-8 years of experience in tax law.Strong understanding of transactional tax principles.Experience in tax matters related to public finance, tax-exempt organizations, or other related areas is advantageous. Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications:Any relevant tax certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation are preferred. Skills:Advanced proficiency in utilizing legal research tools and databases.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex tax concepts clearly and effectively.Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.
