The Role Design and implement cloud solutions, monitor cloud privacy, respond to technical issues, offer guidance in infrastructure on GCP. Collaborate with teams to enhance and optimize cloud infrastructure cost and performance. The Main Responsibilities Implementation experience with identity management and networking segmentation in GCP across multiple VPC networks and multiple projects. Work closely with Architect, Security/application team and provision GCP resources via terraform and respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner. Offer guidance in infrastructure movement techniques, including bulk application transfers into the cloud. Identify the top cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the needs of the company and support cross-functional teams with establishing technical strategy and architecture at an enterprise level. Support scalable networking design including high availability, redundancy, fail-over and load balancing.and support network security design including segmentation, encryption, logging and monitoring. Assessment and demonstration of new technologies; capacity planning; performance tuning. Experience leading GCP Cloud micro services delivery at scale, i.e. responsible for: o Deliverables.o Technical and architecture oversight.o CI/CD pipelines. Green/Blue deployments. Location This is a work from home position in our TX market. What We Look For in a Candidate Basic Qualifications* 3 years of GCP experience on provisioning resources via Terraform* Google Cloud Certified.* Strong expertise in GCP services (i.e. Cloud Services Platform, Google Kubernetes Engine, Compute Engine, Google Cloud Load Balancing, Storage, Security, Monitoring, etc.).* Knowledge of Security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Key Management, Access Controls and Security Protocols, Network routing, Firewalls, ACL's, cloud IaaS components on GCP.* Knowledge with containerization, orchestration tools like Kubernetes, and continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.* Automate provisioning of networks and access (Organization, Routes/Firewalls, IAM, Policy). Compensation The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications. Location Based Pay Ranges: $109,330 - $145,770 in these states: TXAs with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.
