About the Position By title, Church @ The Springs is seeking a full-time Associate Kids Pastor for our Ocala Campus. That's a long title to say; we're looking for someone to join our children's ministry team to lead the Elementary ministry at the Ocala campus and work to raise the bar in production and digital media for the children's ministry as a whole. By description, we're seeking an extremely confident, wildly creative, tech-savvy individual who loves production but is still primarily concerned about developing volunteers and helping kids grow in faith. You might be: A college graduate with a background in Bible, education, communication, production, or other corporate experience you know would translate well into the church. Volunteering at a high level in children's ministry with a desire to be developed and pursue ministry as a career. The go-to event planner for your family and friends. Thinking, "This is pretty good, but I can make it even better." You are: Passionate about seeing kids develop a personal relationship with Jesus. Able to recognize talent, engage volunteers, and develop them for ministry. Serious about giving ministry away, not just doing ministry yourself. Over-the-top tech and video savvy. Able to communicate with digital learners. Wildly creative but able to bring your ideas to fruition. A strong written and verbal communicator, able to express timeless truth in a way kids can understand. Highly relational and works well with others. Teachable and willing to learn and grow. You will be: Working at a large, growing, multi-site church. (This can be tougher than it sounds, but for the right person, it's an incredible opportunity to learn and grow in ministry.) Leading volunteers to create an elementary environment that is fun and attractive to kids. Providing for the enlistment, care, training, and evaluation of all elementary volunteers at the Ocala Campus. Developing digital media and content for various children's ministry programming and events. Creating elementary worship experiences that are easily transferable and exportable to multiple campuses. Reporting to the Kids' Pastor and working with the children's ministry team in brainstorming and ideation to provide direction for the children's ministry at large. About Church at the Springs Church @ The Springs was launched in 1994 in Ocala, Florida, by Ron and Teddi Sylvia, who were passionate about reaching the unchurched in relevant ways. This innovative spirit has always been at the core of The Springs, with a committed community ready and willing to do whatever it takes to spread The Gospel.With 15 location changes within the first 15 years, The Springs was launching new churches and multiplying as a church but needed a permanent place to call home. This would become a place that would increase ministry opportunities and the impact The Springs would be able to have in the community. In 2010, The Springs moved into its new and permanent home, followed by two more campus launches in 2012 and 2015; The Springs continued to grow and learn.Today, The Springs is well prepared to take its multi-site strategy to the next level of impact, keeping pace with the growing surge of new, unchurched communities. They currently have four campuses and over 5000 people in attendance.The Springs is committed to serving their local community through school partnerships, food drives, women's pregnancy centers, and more. Their small groups spearhead the majority of community mission work with the support of our church. As we seek to steward these future opportunities, the innovative spirit of our church community continues.
