The Duke Department of Anesthesiology is seeking a full time regional anesthesiologist to work in the OR and perioperative block service at Duke University Medical Center . Ideal candidates will be BC/BE in Anesthesiology, and possess fellowship training in regional anesthesiology and acute pain medicine . The ideal candidate should also have a track record in research and will have published in the peer reviewed literature; Possess a national reputation as evidenced by activity with national societies and lecturing commitments at regional/national meetings; A strong commitment to education of trainees as evidenced by a robust teaching portfolio. The Divisions goal is to promote a constant interplay between scholarly educational activities, research, and clinical practice, with the goal of identifying clinically relevant questions that ultimately benefit patient care and enrich the educational experience of the next generation of regional anesthesiologists and acute pain medicine physicians. Salary and faculty title will be commensurate with training and experience. The Department of Anesthesiology offers a robust compensation plan that rewards clinical productivity and academic excellence.
