The Accounts Receivable Analyst will oversee crucial client accounts and assist in the day-to-day operations of our Corporate A/R department. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Make collection calls as needed based on payment terms. Prepare and send statements or collection letters to clients with outstanding balances. Handle in-bound client phone calls for designated client base and serve as back up in the absence of A/R team members. Coordinate with sales team and clients on any unapplied order payments. Prepare accurate daily cash receipts and reconcile warehouse daily deposits. Maintain an accurate unapplied cash payment log and follow up on NSF (non-sufficient fund) payments. Prepare various month end reports. Assist with additional accounting projects as requested by management. WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH: 2-4 years accounts receivable experience in a high volume environment. Strong MS Office Skills (Excel, Word, Outlook). The ability to develop client relationships, primarily through phone calls and email. Capable of using good judgement to identify the best approach to handling customer payment issues. Strong attention to detail and persistent follow up skills. Ability to prioritize and organize workload to achieve the most efficient outcome. Outgoing, friendly and approachable personality. Lift, push, pull, carry, and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision and Distance vision.
