Assistant Director of Modern Worship Isle of Hope United Methodist Church Principal Function: The Assistant Director of Modern Worship works with Minister of Music & Worship in the planning, administration, and execution of the Anchor Modern Worship service in order to deepen the worshiping and spiritual life of the church. Areas of Responsibility: Work with the Minister of Music & Worship to plan weekly worship. Maintain the Anchor Band Schedule via Planning Center. Organize and distribute lead sheets and practice recordings weekly for band members. Create weekly worship slides and upload to ProPresenter (in conjunction with the Director of Communications). Assist with Anchor Band technology needs (including but not limited to In-Ear Monitors, Click Tracks, Multi-tracks, and Backing Vocals). Assist with Anchor Band Rehearsals Thursdays – 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Lead Sunday morning rehearsal/sound check Sound Check & Rehearsal – Sundays at 8:00 a.m. Serve as Worship Leader with the Anchor Band Sundays 9:15 a.m. – 10:15 a.m. Skills and Qualifications: Team player; experience working collaboratively. Strong administrative and interpersonal skills Gifted instrumentalist and vocalist. Proficiency with various forms of media software.
