Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing Department: Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing Campus: St. George (Downtown Toronto) Description: The Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing at the University of Toronto invites applications for a full-time tenure stream position in Health Systems and/or Implementation Science Nursing. The position will be at the rank of Assistant Professor with an expected start date of July 1, 2024, or shortly thereafter. The Position Applicants must have an entry -to- practice degree (BSc N or MN) in nursing, as well as a Ph D in nursing or a related discipline by date of appointment or shortly thereafter, with a demonstrated record of excellence in research and teaching. All applicants must be eligible for registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario. We seek candidates with a strong program of research in the field of health systems leadership and/or a particular focus on implementation science. Evidence of excellence in research will be evidenced by publications considered of high quality, and award of competitive funding as a co- or principal investigator, as well as the submitted research statement, and strong endorsements from referees. Evidence of excellence in teaching should be demonstrable in the submitted teaching statement and dossier of prior teaching experience (outlined below), strong course evaluations and letters of reference affirming the candidate’s teaching accomplishments. Candidates must also have experience working with, teaching, or mentoring/supervising diverse groups or diverse students along with the ability to contribute to fostering diversity on campus, and within the curriculum or nursing profession, demonstrated through the application materials.
