Managing - Mentoring Attorney

The DYADlaw Managing/Senior Attorney will be a passionate advocate for Immigration and Immigrant Rights. This position will be responsible for a wide variety of areas of immigration law, including but not limited to all non-immigrant visas, humanitarian visas, consular processing,--waivers, representing clients before USCIS interviews and EOIR court hearings, and all federal litigation and appellate work. Responsibilities: --- Supervise and lead a team of staff attorneys, contract attorneys, and support staff in Vista, CA, US --- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to junior attorneys working in immigration law --- Cultivate a collaborative and positive work environment for the legal team --- Manage a caseload consisting of humanitarian cases, such as VAWA, U Visa, and T Visa cases --- Ensure the timely and accurate preparation, filing, and management of all cases --- Conduct legal research to stay updated on changes in immigration law --- Develop and implement strategies to meet production deadlines and case-related goals --- Monitor and evaluate individual and team performance to ensure timely completion of tasks --- Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed about the progress of their cases --- Address client concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally --- Review and evaluate the work of attorneys to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services --- Establish and maintain quality assurance processes --- Organize training sessions and workshops to enhance the professional development of the legal team --- Stay informed about changes in immigration law and disseminate relevant information to the team --- Ensure compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements --- Uphold the firm's commitment to ethical and responsible legal practice Qualifications: --- Possess a J.D. degree from an accredited law school --- Hold an active Bar License in Good Standing from any US State or Puerto Rico --- Fluent in Spanish is a plus --- Thrive in a challenging and fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines --- Demonstrate strong analytical abilities to accurately articulate critical issues in complex cases --- Possess superior and creative legal research and writing skills --- Exhibit computer literacy, particularly with Google Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and related software --- Work in a supportive and professional manner with other attorneys, support staff, and clients --- Communicate effectively both in the office and the courtroom --- Have the ability to work independently without supervision --- Proficient in team management and solution-based problem-solving --- Recognize the need for and uphold confidentiality at all times About Company: DYADlaw, P.C. - a fast-growing law firm passionate about helping immigrants with their legal status and defining their American Dreams is looking for its next team player.
