BANQUET COOK REQUIREMENTS 2+ years of baking experience Ability to work multiple kitchen stations and perform intermediate cooking tasks High school diploma or equivalent Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical requirements Ability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays Are you presentable and professional? Do you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills? Do you love cooking and thrive in fast-paced environments? If YES, we want you! WHAT TO EXPECT Our Banquet Cook generally works 7 - 8 hour shifts, but that can vary. You deliver first-class culinary experiences to members and leave lasting impressions. Collaborating with your team, you create delicious desserts and other culinary offerings. You promptly prepare meals and efficiently fulfill orders, contributing to smooth events and functions. As you work, you maintain a clean kitchen environment, encourage your team, and coordinate with our manager. Eager to improve, you participate in all scheduled meetings and trainings. As needed, you also assist with event functions and help set up and break down event spaces. ABOUT OUR COUNTRY CLUB Founded in 1899, Austin Country Club is one of the oldest existing clubs in Texas and home to Harvey Penick, one of the greatest golf instructors who ever lived. As a private, family-oriented club that is rich in tradition, we are known for the quality of our membership and unmatched customer service that exceeds expectations. We are located along the banks of the Colorado River with Austin's iconic Pennybacker Bridge as our backdrop.
