What You Get To DoPerforms purchase activities for a list of specific vendors as follows:Prepares and submits stock purchase orders. Online entry of purchase orders on vendor's web portalResponds to internal customer inquiries about order status and order changes. Enters purchasing documents into the Document management systemVerifies accuracy of vendor invoice and process for paymentContacts suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries and other problemsReviews requisition orders to verify accuracy, terminology and specifications.Assists with physical inventory as neededMay perform other duties as assigned.Requirements:What We Need From You-- Associate's degree in a related field a plus.-- Minimum one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. -- Experience with ERP systems a plus. -- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and the use of the Internet. -- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.We Are Winning WhenOur expectations are that team members demonstrate our Core Values.-- Integrity & Respect - Work with the highest ethical standards, interact openly and directly, honor our commitments and value diversity of styles, roles and perspectives.-- Teamwork - Actively collaborate with others to solve problems and create opportunities.
