Pennsylvania American Water has an immediate full:time opening for a Senior Water Quality and Environmental Compliance Specialist Apply today for immediate consideration if you have experience with water sampling, water, wastewater, laboratory experience, then this role is for YOU Apply today to become the newest member of the Pennsylvania American Water family Primary Role Responsible for organizing advanced functions and activities related toenvironmental management and water quality for assigned facilities.Responsible for maintaining all applicable lab certifications,accreditations, or approvals to conduct compliance and process qualitycontrol work. Implements the day to day collection of water qualitysamples. Implements programs to ensure compliance with all water qualityand environmental regulations. Assists in resolving treatment issues.Investigates water quality complaints and determines course of actionneeded. Key Accountabilities:Manage monitoring and reporting programs to ensure compliance withfederal and state water quality and environmental regulations andcompany standards for assigned facilities.:Conduct advanced samplingand/or analysis and special projects.:Obtain, prepare, file and maintain all regulatory reports and records.:Manage required permits and make any necessary modifications and renewals.:Participate ininternal and external audits and represent American Water with regulators and customers.:Identify potential issues and problems and initiate responsive actions and mitigate environmental violations.:Su
