Description:
We are hiring one person for and AM Cook Position. The hours are Wed and Thur from 6am to 2:30pm. The basics of the Job would be to prep and cook breakfast from the company menu and cooking eggs to order for about 40 people. You would also be responsible for preparing the daily soup, and the feature lunch item from the company menu and serving lunch for about 60-70 people. TerraBella Senior Living is the proud operator of more than 30 plus, amenity-, care- and lifestyle-focused communities located throughout the Carolinas, Virginia, Kentucky, Georgia, and Tennessee. TerraBella communities together account for more than 2200 units and span a full spectrum of senior living and care options, including Active Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and available, short-term Respite Care. Responsibilities: Prepare hot and cold menu items which requires working on the grill, sauté station, salad-bar and on the service line; Ensure the proper preparation, portioning and serving of foods as indicated on the menu cycle and the standardized recipes; Taste and prepare food to determine quality Qualifications: Previous experience in Senior Living preferred Experience with production methods, portion control and food handling safety required. Great organizational skills a must Strong communication skills Attention to detail and presentation of food product is required. Must be able to work weekends.
