You will successfully accomplish your day to day independently at times and at times with your valuable team members. You will be responsible for performing routine processes and at times resolving issues to ensure that we manufacture product of the highest quality. Quality Liquid Feeds, Inc., a nationwide, innovative leader in the developing and manufacturing of liquid feed supplements for animals a full-time, 8:00am - 5:00pm, position available at our LaSalle, IL feed manufacturing plant. What you'll be doing: You will be responsible for feed safety and quality by unloading railcar, barges and trucks as well as operating batch mixing equipment to mix feed ingredients according to specific feed formulas You will operate automated or manual equipment, pumps, pre-mix addition systems, and routing systems to manufacture feed per established procedures You will unload railcars, barges and trucks as well as inspect inbound bulk and bag ingredients, operate receiving equipment and distribute ingredients into the appropriate bin/tank following established procedures You will be responsible for performing cost-effective, preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance on plant facilities and equipment to minimize down-time within the facility You'll be a great fit if: You are motivated, dependable, team-oriented individual who has the ability to multi-task, pay attention to detail, learn multiple job duties, find efficiencies and help achieve our company's mission and goals You possess basic math skills You are able to lift 55 pounds on a regular basis You can work at elevated heights You have the ability and willingness to work well with a team and independently You have the ability to communicate well with team members and managers daily You possess maintenance skills and have the ability to trouble shoot equipment You have a demonstrated ability to make common sense decisions and solve problems independently, while also being able to accept direction and follow/understand Company guidelines and industry compliance--- You are a people person-the Manufacturing Team interacts with, supports, and collaborates with a broad range of team members, and business partners. The ability to read formulas is essential to this position. If you have maintenance skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment, that's a plus!
