Olin Corporation is hiring an Information Security Systems Specialist to be located at the Winchester Lake City Army Ammunition Plant in Independence, MO (Kansas City area). This role represents the Information Security department within project teams across the Modernization & Innovation organization to assess the Cybersecurity needs of new IT and OT systems which include: Servers, Desktops, Switches, SCADA, PLC, NAE, etc. This role is crucial to the successful deployment of new and upgraded systems, ensuring that systems are implemented securely utilizing least functionality principles. This position works collaboratively with suppliers to ensure that system builds align with both internal and external regulations. Information Security Systems Specialist Essential Job Functions: * Review SOW and RFP documents to assess project implementation impact on overall Cybersecurity posture * Collaborate with vendor system suppliers to ensure the handoff of cybersecurity IT and OT systems * Perform "hardening" assessments of new and upgraded systems to ensure the principle of least functionality is implemented.Perform system hardening activities to ensure systems meet the required levels of security * Perform system administrator role within air-gapped stand-alone networks * Perform security engineering estimates and assist with system configurationsInformation Security Systems Specialist Minimum Requirements: * High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree* in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Risk Management or IT related field preferred * 3 years of IT Security or System Administrator experience including system configuration and provisioning * Minimum of 1 certification from the following: * CompTIA Security+ * Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) * Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) * Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM) * Certified Ethical Hacking (CEH) * GIAC Information Security Professional (GISP) * Knowledge of information security concepts and technologies such as networking, network segmentation, vulnerability scanners, firewalls, IPSIDS, network analysis tools, data loss prevention, security event management, encryption technologies, proxies, cloud services, mobile devices, etc. * Ability to install, administer, and maintain at least one of the following server environments: * VMware ESXi * Microsoft Hyper-V * Linux * Windows Server * Able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance level 'Secret'. * This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required * This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. * This position requires successful vetting for unescorted accessin accordance with U.S. Army andDepartment of Defense access policies.Our employees enjoy the following employment enhancements and more: * Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance effective Day 1 * Fertility Benefits (lifetime maximum $25,000) * 401(k) with an employer match and Olin retirement contribution account * Accelerated vacation accrual * Generous Paid Time Off Programs, including paid parental leave and volunteer time * Short term incentive program participation * Robust rewards and recognition programs * Pay for Performance Methodology to reward exceptional performance * Tuition Assistance Program * Diverse Employee Networks*Degree must be from a school that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the Secretary of Education of the U.S. Department of Education or equivalent program from an international university.*Olin does not provide any form of sponsorship.
