Network Administration Analyst Sr: Security

Specific Responsibilities The Network Analyst Sr. Security, for Apache Corporation will be a member of Apache's IT : Global Networking team at the company's Houston, office reporting to the Network Administration Manager. This role will be primarily responsible for the following: :Actively participate in the planning, design, and implementation of network and security related projects:Provide technical and architectural support for securing Apache's enterprise and field networks:Assist in developing the overall network security strategy for Apache globally:Act as an escalation resource for reported network performance or application performance issues:Manage and support the network monitoring and configuration management software:Utilize Apaches service portal to manage and create service requests, outages, and change requests:Identify, evaluate and recommend technologies using best practices/industry standards:Identify innovative ways to utilize existing applications and technologies :Forecast and coordinate management of change for scheduled maintenance weekends:Effectively communicate with end users and peers around the world:International and Domestic travel may be required Qualifications and Experience The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience: :Extensive design, deployment and troubleshooting experience with large enterprises:Strong written and verbal communication skills. The ability to clearly articulate complex issues:Project management and customer interfacing capabilities:Extensive experience with Palo Alto products including Panorama, PA NextGen Firewalls and Prisma:Extensive experience with Cisco FirePower, FMC, and CDO:Extensive experience with Solarwinds Network Management suite of applications:Extensive experience with Gigamon, Wireshark and packet level analysis and application performance root cause analysis:Experience with various SDWAN technologies:Experience using Splunk to help with troubleshooting:Experience designing and troubleshooting OSPF, BGP, Firewalls, IPSEC/SSL VPNs, DMVPNs, Spanning tree and network security:High level of experience with Cisco Nexus Data Center Architecture:High level of experience with Cisco ISE/NAC:High level of experience with Arista switches:Working knowledge of SNMP, Netflow, IP SLA and other management protocols:Experience working in Oil and Gas Industry : specifically with field support technicians:CCNP certification a plus Competencies The successful candidate should demonstrate and exhibit the following core competencies: :Communication: Writes, speaks, and presents information effectively and persuasively across communication setting;:Results: Pursues work with energy, drive, and results orientation to positively impact Apaches business success;:Collaboration: Works in partnership with others and encourages different perspectives, while building and maintaining trust; and:Culture: Willingness and ability to align ones behavior with the needs, priorities, and goals of Apache.
