Production Engineer Essential Job Functions: * Responsible for process stewardship over assigned areas including technical documentation, operating procedures, KPIs, process training, safe operating limits and EHS compliance * Provides trouble-shooting and technical support to operations and maintenance supervisors to ensure plant operating objectives are achieved, including shutdowns. * Facilitates process and product quality improvement initiatives, including use of Statistical Process Control techniques and detailed process studies. * Provides process and design support for projects as assigned * Provides process support for engineering, design, construction and commissioning of systems and equipment start-ups * Relieves operations supervisors as necessary and mentors junior level engineersProduction Engineer Minimum Requirements: * Bachelor's degree* in Engineering; Chemical Engineering discipline preferred * 3+ years of experience in a Process Engineering role; chlor alkali process or chemical plant experience preferred * Demonstrated use of project management software * Demonstrated trouble-shooting and operations support skills * Preferred experience includes Distributed Control System and Process Controls knowledge; data management systems (Pi); SPC chartingGrow your career where you are rewarded and valued.Who We AreSince 1892, Olin Corporation has steadily grown to become the industry leader in both chemicals manufacturing and ammunition.
