THE POSITION: We are seeking a skilled, reliable shop assistant to help maintain our expansive fleet so that we can continue providing quality Hydro Excavation services to our community. Every day, you will organize your work orders based on priority, critically analyze each issue, and independently troubleshoot in a fast-paced environment. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential. You MIGHT be a good fit on our AWESOME team if you are... Eager to learn and grow with a company dedicated to your development. Able to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install mechanical equipment. Have worked in a shop for more than 1 year. Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Ability to do consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Performing preventative maintenance, inspection, and correction of minor repairs on various equipment. Executing perform repairs on small 2cycle engines, repair minor electrical on trailers and trucks. Transportation of items in and out of trucks. Cleaning of workstation and surrounding areas in shop. Perform Oil and Filter changes on Transfer Tanks. Pressure Washing of Equipment at the yard to maintain a professional fleet of Hydro Vacs, Water Trucks, Roll Off Trucks, Boom Trucks and Misc. other Equipment.
