The Role A Local Authority in West Susinteraction is looking for a Social Worker to join their backssment and Intervention Service. This is for a full-time, permanent position. The backssment and Intervention team will support the delivery of the Family Safeguarding Model. The backssment and Intervention service is a fast paced, busy and supportive duty team completing child and family backssments, Section 47 enquiries, Child Protection and Child in Need work whilst planning for permanence from day one. backssment and Intervention is at the forefront of producing the best outcomes for children, ensuring they are safe, with specialist social workers focussing on clear plans and interventions with families. This team ensures a strong link with their Early Help colleagues to promote local community support for children and families when social care no longer needs to be involved. This Local Authority is committed to improving their services for the children and families and currently in a key time in their improvement journey. This journey includes establishing a new and experienced senior leadership team, driving their ‘Children First’ improvement plan and implementing the Family Safeguarding Practice Model.
