This position will perform a variety of tasks for preparation, processing and packaging of food and non-food products and lead processing room operations. Main aspects of the role include: Operate food processing machinery, involving set up and tear down Direct crew activities (4 - 6 crew members) Food processing room cleaning / sanitizing Ensure process/product quality is maintained Communicate with packaging crews, coordinators and/or supervisors Hourly pay: $21.00 (see chart below) with $1.00 differential for night shift Estimated Average Weekly Earnings &Effective Hourly Rate for Hours Worked POSITION Processing Line Operator EFFECTIVE RATE Regular Hourly Rate: $ 21.00 Overtime Hourly Rate: $ 31.50 SCHEDULED HOURS Based on 84 hr two-week pay period (70 reg & 14 OT) Weekly Avg Scheduled Regular Hours: 35 Weekly Avg Scheduled Overtime Hours: 7 WEEKLY ESTIMATED EARNINGS Weekly Estimated Regular Earnings: $ 735.00 Weekly Estimated Overtime Earnings: $ 192.93 Total Weekly Estimated Earnings: $ 927.93 EFFECTIVE HOURLY RATE, WEEKLY "Effective" Hourly Rate Comparable to Jobs w/o Built-in OT (standard 40-hr work week): $ 22.56 Working schedule: Day shift: 6:45 AM – 7:00 PM / Night shift: 6:45 PM – 7:00 AM MON TUE WED THUR FRI SAT SUN Week 1 Off Off Work Work Off Off Off Week 2 Work Work Off Off Work Work Work You! The ideal candidate will have previous leadership, production processes and production equipment experience. It would be essential for this person to have organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Additionally, reliable transportation is necessary with the requirement to be able to transport between company locations.
