About The Role: The Senior Billing Accountant will be a highly motivated, experienced individual who can support best practices and contribute to financial reporting and process improvement for one of our key business units. Reporting to the Controller, your primary responsibilities will include participation in the day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close process, annual audit and special projects as needed. While this role offers flexibility, it is a requirement to be in our Buckhead office one day a week to work directly with other members of the accounting team. Responsibilities: Record daily banking and credit card activity in QuickBooks Desktop Record customer order changes in our billing system Perform month-end close tasks including bank account reconciliations, journal entries, account reviews and balance sheet account reconciliations Coordinate with Controller on collections activities Respond to PSA customer billing inquires with 5 star service Support annual external audit and tax activities Provide support for ad-hoc requests from Senior Leadership team as needed Support the monthly revenue recognition process Special projects as requested such as transition to Quickbooks Online Skills Needed: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance 2-3 years of direct experience in accounting, with additional experience in billing Experience in technology / SaaS industry strongly preferred Exceptional technical accounting, organization, communication skills, strong sense of urgency Knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Proven problem-solver and critical thinker with exemplary standards of accounting execution Strong Microsoft Office Excel skills a must Familiarity with QuickBooks Online and Quickbooks Desktop highly desirable Benefits and Perks: Excellent medical, dental and vision coverage, with rates comparable to larger companies Company paid for life and disability insurance 401k with generous company match and immediate vesting Unlimited PTO Monthly tech and fitness reimbursements Professional development allowance At Rev.io no employee or applicant will be treated less favorably on the grounds of their sex, marital status, race, color, nationality or ethnic or national origin, disability, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, pregnancy or maternity, marital or civil partner status, or religion or belief.
