Carpenter / NOC 7271 Nordic Shore Construction Inc. is seeking carpenters who are willing to be a team member and conduct all duties related to this position. Job title: Carpenter Job Type: Permanent full-time Salary: CAD 30.00 / hourly Location: Varies in Lower Mainland Number of vacancies: 2Shift: 35 Hours /weekly If you meet the below-listed requirements, please forward your resume and cover letter via email to: xyz X@ Mani duties: • Install wooden structures such as roofing frames, rafters, partitions, joists and stud work, • Adding fixtures and fittings such as door handles, locks, hinges, and closures, • Read blueprints and designs to work to specifications prepared by other construction professionals, architects and building code recommendations, • Measure, and mark cutting lines on materials, using ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge, • Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment, • Assemble and fasten materials to make framework or props, using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue, • Build or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, and other wooden fixtures used in buildings, using woodworking machines, carpenter's hand tools, and power tools, • install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems, • Liaise with clients by providing cost estimations.
