They are looking for a Explosives Engineer / Metrics Engineer, where youll play a crucial role in maintaining industry standards and driving innovative technologies. The Role: The primary responsibility of the Explosives Engineer will involve executing service and equipment calibrations as instructed by the Senior Explosives Engineer. This role entails ensuring that services are provided in a timely and standardised manner, with corresponding invoices generated through the Sales Office. Responsibilities: Conduct drone surveys for site backssments. Process data for fragmentation and blast performance analysis. Manage vibration monitoring units and blasting equipment. Offer expert consultancy support, including statistical analysis. Safeguard adherence to best practices and safety protocols. Develop and enhance procedures for emerging technologies. Contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies. Provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders. Facilitate industry training and seminars. Uphold technical competence in operational processes. Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience with explosives in an industrial setting. Bachelors degree in science or engineering, ideally related to mining or geology. Specialised training in shotfiring, explosives supervision, and blast monitoring.
