Date Posted: 08/22/2023 Req ID: 33603 Faculty/Division: Vice-Provost, Students Department: University Registrar's Office Campus: St. George (Downtown Toronto) Description: Position Summary: Under the direction of the Deputy University Registrar & Director of Operations, and working closely with the Senior Management team, the Assistant Registrar, Admission Systems is responsible for managing admissions and transfer credit systems (e. g. Technolutions Slate, Transfer Credits applications, Ontario Universities Application Centre PDFs, Share Point, etc. ). This includes requirement specification, development, day-to-day operations and maintenance, and compliance and reporting. The incumbent will be responsible for developing creative solutions and incorporating new technical processes to improve business workflow, production, security, efficiency, and effectiveness. The incumbent will work closely with the URO (University Registrar s Office) Technical Solutions and the University Admissions and Outreach (UAO) teams to ensure technology administration and project management in support of admissions activities. They will be a key liaison with the Admissions team to find new solutions or processes to improve/enhance service to students. The incumbent also effectively and efficiently uses the enterprise student information system (e. g. ROSI) as well as complementary reporting tools (e. g. Power BI, Azure, Tableau). The position works collaboratively with the School of Graduate Studies, Enterprise Applications & Solutions Integration, divisional partners across the tri-campus, and other central university units (e. g. Student Life, Residences, Planning & Budget) to ensure the high-quality execution of technology-supported business processes, data management, and reporting related to the admissions and transfer credit cycles.
