As a Carpenter your job description would be as follows: • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials• Assemble, install and finalize items such as sofas, loveseats, tables beds & chase• Maintain, repair and renovate wooden structures and furniture’s• May prepare cost estimates for clients.
