The Role: As a Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of systems and the implementation of secure and efficient solutions for medium to large-scale deployments. This is an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain systems reliably. Design and deploy solutions for Medium and Large Scale projects. Conduct security audits on third-party suppliers. Assist in network design, integration, and complex solutions. Contribute to disaster recovery, backup planning, and network throughput. Troubleshoot and promptly resolve network issues. Manage network monitoring for optimal performance and availability. Lead desktop and helpdesk support, minimising disruptions. Enhance security measures, ensure compliance, and enforce policies. Provide expert guidance on network, security, and design matters. Ensure consistent network availability and user access. Maintain documentation of problems, resolutions, and impact backssments. Requirements Previous experience working as a 3rd line engineer, IT Service Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, IT Engineer or in a similar role Prior experience in an MSP environment is essential. Deep understanding of network security best practices. Competence with Active Directory, Office 365, Hyper-V, VMware. Proficiency in both on-premises and cloud-based network technologies.
