Practice Area: Real Estate - General,Real Estate - Finance, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 5 Years, Job Overview: A law firm based in Wilmington, DE, is seeking an Attorney with solid experience in real estate finance law. The ideal candidate will have high academic achievement, substantial large law firm experience, and exceptional writing and communication skills.Job Duties:Manage real estate finance transactions from inception through closing and post-closing, including secondary market repurchase facility work and other exit strategies.Handle loan origination work for large structured commercial real estate finance transactions, including mezzanine loans and preferred equity.Provide asset management and workout experience as needed.Collaborate effectively with lenders and other stakeholders throughout the transaction process.Conduct legal research, analysis, and drafting of legal documents as necessary.Requirements:JD required.5+ years of broad real estate finance experience.Solid experience practicing real estate finance law in a large law firm setting.Experience running transactions on behalf of lenders.Familiarity with secondary market repurchase facility work and other exit strategies.Strong writing and communication skills.Education Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree.Skills:Proficient in legal research and analysis.Excellent writing and communication skills.Ability to manage complex transactions efficiently.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Benefits:Medical InsuranceDental InsuranceLife InsuranceDisability InsuranceVoluntary Insurance, including Vision401(k) PlanPaid Time Off Ranked as one of the Best Client Relationships firm and as one of the top Best Known Firms in the nation, the attorneys in this firm are invested in understanding their clients? businesses from all angels, including the risks, challenges, and issues affecting their industries.
