Position: Quantity Surveyor Location: Bournemouth Employment type: Permanent Working agreement: Hybrid Salary: GBP55:70k p/a (DOE) Randstad are partnered with a market leader in the water industry seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team, based in Bournemouth, with the option of hybrid working. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will report directly to the Managing QS, taking on responsibility for key accounts on large projects or overseeing the financial control of smaller projects. Role Overview: x25CF; Handling applications, valuations, and cost value reconciliation x25CF; Ensuring cost control and forecasting, and providing information for monthly reports on value, cost, profit/loss and cash flow x25CF; Assisting with Risk and Value Management to optimise solutions and providing mentorship to the project team x25CF; Contract management, including utilising relevant contractual forms, budgetary control methods, and software applications x25CF; Initiating subcontract enquiries, negotiating contracts, and ensuring all necessary notifications/documents are up to date About you: x25CF; Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification x25CF; ARICS accreditation or studying for APC x25CF; Experience working with a main contractor x25CF; Experience working within the water sector x25CF; Familiarity with NEC contracts (highly advantageous) Our client: An integrated design and build provider in the water sector, operating with over 1,000 staff across multiple offices spread across the UK.
