It builds especially on tools developed in intermediate macroeconomics, but also focuses on the institutional structure of the Canadian monetary sector, including the role and operation of the Bank of Canada. Estimated course enrolment : 60 Estimated TA support : 84 hours (contingent upon enrolment and funding) Class Schedule Class Schedule: MO:18:00-21:00; WE:18:00-21:00 The delivery method for this course is currently hybrid. Please note that, in keeping with current circumstances, the course delivery method may change as determined by the Faculty or the Department. Sessional dates of appointment : July 1 - August 31, 2024 Salary (per H section): $9,457.90 (Sessional Lecturer I) $9,930.79 (Sessional Lecturer I - Long Term) $10,121.77 (Sessional Lecturer II) $10,326.62 (Sessional Lecturer II - Long Term) $10,362.76 (Sessional Lecturer III) $10,570.02 (Sessional Lecturer III - Long Term) Please note that should rates stipulated in the collective agreement vary from rates stated in this posting, the rates stated in the collective agreement shall prevail. Minimum qualifications: Ph D in Economics Prior experience teaching this course (or a similar course) at the university level Ability and experience teaching large classes Preferred qualifications: Demonstrated excellence in teaching over four or more years Experience with remote or online teaching Description of duties : Preparation and delivery of lectures in this course Supervision of teaching assistant(s) assigned to course Preparation, supervision and grading of tests and examinations in accordance with.
