Based in Southern California with locations in Malibu, Calabasas, Westlake Village and Camarillo; HRL has been on the leading edge of technology, conducting pioneering research and advancing the state of the artGeneral Description: This position reports to the Program Security Manager and will support facilities located in Thousand Oaks, Agoura Hills, Camarillo and Malibu, CAHRL seeks a Security Support Specialist who offers experience across security and administrative domainsThis position offers great opportunity for growth within the security organizationEssential Duties: Duties will include (but are not limited to) the following. Acting point of contact for security support requests Assisting in various entry level security and administrative tasks Escorting in secure areas; secure area build administration Security badge management Shipping and receiving Interfacing with various internal and external customers in support of ongoing security projects Contributing towards the development of security related SOPs and process flows Coordination of special events organizing and scheduling meetings and travel ordering and managing office supplies and equipment Required Skills: Self-starter requiring minimal supervision with a positive attitudeAbility to plan, schedule and arrange activities to accomplish objectivesProficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Ability to create fillable forms. Minimum of two years working in a high paced environmentPrior experience in military, law enforcement, or security is requiredExpense report processing, purchase order input and tracking, petty cash managementWorking knowledge of the NISPOM, ICDs and applicable DoD Directives. Must be able to coordinate across multiple departments and work well in a team environmentAbility to problem solve and handle difficult interactions using excellent verbal and written communication skills are essentialMust have superb time management and organizational skillsRequired Education: High School diploma with 2+ years related experienceBachelor's degree with 1+ years related experiencePhysical Requirements: The employee is required to stand; walk hilly topography; and stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift equipmentThe employee must periodically lift and/or move up to 60 pounds -use team lift and lift equipment when necessarySpecial Requirements: Must be a US CitizenMust possess and maintain a current Top Secret/ SCI security clearanceMust be able to successfully pass a polygraph examinationMust be able to work weekends and or various shifts when desiredCompensation: The base salary range for this full-time position $76,530 - $93,320 + bonus + benefits.
