We are recruiting for the following position(s): Sea Mar is a mandatory COVID-19 and flu vaccine organization Child and Family Therapist Associate or Licensed C&F Therapist - Posting #24403 Hourly Range: $ 32.26 -$35.35 Are you a new graduate looking for a great place to gain experience and licensure hours? Sea Mar Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time therapist for its expanding child and family program, and we love to mentor new clinicians! Position Summary: Sea Mar Behavioral Health in Bellingham is seeking a full-time therapist for its diverse and expanding child and family program. The office and/or school based Child and Family Therapist provides mental health assessments, individual and family counseling, case management, crisis stabilization, treatment planning, and may lead groups in a school or office setting. In addition, the therapist will provide referrals and coordination with medication providers, primary physicians and other community agencies.We will train you to assess, diagnose and develop treatment plans. Other training opportunities also available. Must be willing to work early or later hours on some days, depending on school placement and office needs. Note: Sea Mar is offering tele-health therapy and in-person services at this time. Qualifications: Must hold a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, counseling, or social work which includes course-work in psychological diagnostics. Must meet WAC requirements for a Mental Health Professional. Child Mental Health Specialists preferred or be willing to work towards credential. Must meet criteria of a Mental Health Professional (MHP). Must hold and maintain an active Washington State Agency Affiliated Counselor License (may be pending for up to 60 days if applied for within 7 days of being offered employment) or mental health Associate License (includes Marriage and Family Therapist, Mental Health Counselor, and Clinical Social Worker). Computer efficiency preferred. English/Spanish bilingual highly preferred. Additional Requirements: Must have and maintain a current TB test. This position must obtain CPR within 90 days of hire date and is required to maintain current CPR throughout employment. This position may be eligible for the student loan repayment program.
