The Renewable Energy Project Development and Finance Associate Attorney will work with clients in the clean energy industry on high-quality projects across the United States. They will utilize their experience in renewable energy and commercial contracts, with a preference for experience in power purchase agreements, company or asset purchase and sale agreements, hedge contracts, equipment supply contracts, and construction contracts. Strong written and oral communication skills are essential. Duties:Work with clients on renewable energy projects across the countryAssist in negotiating and drafting power purchase agreementsDraft and review company or asset purchase and sale agreementsNegotiate and draft hedge contracts, equipment supply contracts, and construction contractsProvide legal advice and guidance on project development, finance, mergers acquisitions, and commercial contractsConduct legal research on renewable energy regulations and policiesCollaborate with clients and internal teams to achieve project objectives Requirements:2-7 years of law firm experience in project development, finance, mergers acquisitions, and commercial contractsExperience working in the renewable energy industry preferredStrong written and oral communication skills Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolAdmission to the state Bar Skills:Strong understanding of renewable energy project development and financeProficiency in negotiating and drafting commercial contractsExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentFamiliarity with renewable energy regulations and policies Benefits:Medical, dental, vision, life, ADD, EAP, STD, and LTD insuranceEnhanced parental leave and Off Ramp/On Ramp programVoluntary income protection benefits such as supplemental life, accident, critical illness, and long-term care insurances401(k)-retirement plan with a company match This is undoubtedly one of the Mountain West's most distinguished law firms.
