Job Summary As part of Compass Technology Canada, this position ensures IT Infrastructure and operating systems are functioning efficiently and effectively. From major system development and implementation to daily network administration and technical support, Compass Technology Canada provides technical advice and support to over 3,000 operating units and offices across Canada. Now, if you were to come on board as one of our Systems Administrators, we’d ask you to do the following for us: Prioritize and execute tasks effectively in a challenging and fast-paced work environment. Be responsible for installing, supporting, and maintaining IT Systems. Implement and support a wide variety of IT systems across Canada and the US. Perform end of lease server replacements, including staging hardware, installing site specific applications, and coordinating cutovers while minimizing downtime for the business. Plan, communicate, and document system changes. Ensure Company standards and industry best practices are followed and improved. Function as a Tier 2 escalation point, provide IT support for the in-house and remote users across Canada. Record, track, and document the request/problem-solving process and actions taken.
