Senior Grants Manager Reports to: Development Associate Director/Manager Schedule Type: Full-time, Exempt Location: Office located in Anaheim, CA. Requires some travel throughout the Greater Los Angeles Area. Pay Range: $70,000 - $78,000 for individuals with 0-3 years of experience. $78,000 - $86,000 for individuals with 4+ years of experience. Requirements: Must have proof of COVID-19 Vaccination/Boosters. The Senior Grants Manager is responsible for providing leadership and direction for the grants management department. This includes, oversight of the Grant Writer, grant proposals, researching, submissions, and reporting. Maintains and grows partnerships with funders and other partners to help them understand the organizational needs. This position reports to the Development Manager and works with them to support the overall grant goals for the year. Primary Roles & Responsibilities : Increase grant funding income from existing and new institutional relationships Oversee the preparation, submission, and management of grant proposals to foundations, governmental agencies, and corporate sources Oversee prospect research strategy, arrange meetings to build/maintain relationships with a variety of partners to increase institutional income Maintain system for a timely reporting process Work with programmatic and other departments and management to ensure successful outcomes for funded projects, determine grant needs and strategize on grant funding opportunities Work with Communications and other departments to obtain and utilize the most recent information and most accurate latest data for grant submissions and other engagements with funders Maintain system for grant tracking and internal reporting Provide grant writing support coverage to the department as needed Assist with other Development projects as assigned Other: Full-time with occasional evenings and weekends required Occasional travel locally for outreach including participating in community events All CAIR staff are required to assist in general duties such as answering phones, weekly outreach, fundraising, and other office tasks as required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and previous grant writing experience required Preferably 4+ years of grant writing, management, and submission Strong communication skills (oral & written); ability to write persuasive proposals Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously Comfort with leading multiple initiatives concurrently and strong ability to meet strict deadlines Must have strong initiative and demonstrate the ability to learn in a self-directed manner with minimal supervision A record of measurable results in securing grant funding Comfortable working productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a rapidly growing organization Compensation: Kaiser Health Insurance and Blue Cross PPO Dental Plan for staff members, their spouse, and their children Paid time off for incoming staff includes: 12 Paid vacation days, 10 holidays, and 10 sick days IRA matching program Professional development budget.
