Our Pediatric Healthcare Integration program was awarded the NAMI WA Youth Community Program in 2022 and is looking for a Child/Youth Mental Health Therapist to join our immensely successful Pediatric Healthcare Integration team. That's right, team . We have true collaboration, not just co-location. The job is solution-focused, measurement-based care, using easy-to-implement evidence-based treatments. You will receive training and support from experts in the field of IBH to integrate into a primary care clinic. We work closely with the client's medical provider, psychiatric consultants as well as the larger medical team to ensure the best possible outcome for our clients. Our team even has Community Health Workers to provide additional support for families. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Providing brief, evidence-based behavioral interventions including First Approach Skills Training (FAST) from Seattle Children's, CBT, and other treatments as appropriate Coordinating with patient's medical provider and psychiatric consultant Screening, assessment, and diagnosing of referred patients Patient education Supporting medication management (as prescribed by medical provider) Participate in weekly case review with psychiatric consultant Track patient follow-up and clinical outcomes using a registry Document patient progress and treatment recommendations in the EHR Facilitate treatment plan changes for patients not improving Work closely with Community Health Workers to facilitate referrals for clinically indicated services inside and outside the organization Develop and support relapse prevention plans with patients who have achieved treatment goals Meet productivity and agency expectations, completing all work in a timely manner Participate as a positive member of the clinical team Required Qualifications Master's Degree in counseling, social work, or related field Licensed in WA state: Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, Social Worker, Psychologist, or Master's level licensure candidate/trainee (e.g. LMHCA) Experience working with children, youth, and families Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Must be reliable, hard-working, and have an excellent work ethic WATCH State Patrol check, 5 Panel Drug Screen. Position requires the following immunizations: MMR, VZV, Tdap, Hep B, Influenza (annually), TB test (annually), COVID-19 vaccination. Job Conditions Work will be performed at both the HopeSparks office (9th Street in Tacoma) and the three Pediatrics NW locations throughout Pierce County and the Federal Way office in King County. Work is a combination of telehealth (at the 9th Street office or your home) and in-person services. This position is for a 1.0 FTE or 40 hours per week.
