Training Manager Newton Abbott £Competitive This is an excellent opportunity to join an established and successful award-winning manufacturer of FMCG products in a Training Manager role We are looking for a Training Manager that has proven training experience in a similar FMCG environment. We want them to join the business and establish a really strong training department. The role will include everything from reviewing current systems and updating them - likely implementing an online records management system as well as updating work instructions and delivering shop floor training. With your proven experience you'll bring new ideas, build on existing systems, and establish a strong training department that ensures staff are equipped with the skills they need. Training Manager Roles and Responsibilities ·Implement a system that maintains company-wide training records and identifies future training requirements to ensure everything is up to date ·Develop a training strategy that promotes a food-safety-first approach across the business and includes a robust training program for standard Work instructions, Food Safety and Health & Safety ·Training - you'll be responsible for delivering induction and factory floor on the job training to all levels of production staff setting high factory standards. This will also include basic health & safety training to include manual handling, fire safety, site rules and general H&S awareness ·You'll liaise with department heads and line managers to identify specific training requirements for new starters and existing staff, supporting the delivery and follow up ·You'll manage external training requirements, coordinating training, managing external contractors, logging training and following up with internal backssments on quality ·You'll hold regular ongoing reviews & updates of company-wide work instructions & SOP's in liaison with department heads, senior managers, supervisors & operators Training Manager Hours.
