The job involves: Preparing and serving guests’ beverages in accordance to established standards in a timely manner Providing remarkable service, by recognizing and anticipating guest’s needs Working with a beer and liquor inventory management system Product knowledge, including prices Managing a float, preparing end of shift cash transactions and exchanging monetary funds Maintaining a clean, organized and well stocked bar Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time Working as one team under stressful conditions during high volume business levels Thorough knowledge of all activities and promotions occurring at our casino properties Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation The ideal candidate has: Minimum 6 - 12 months bartending experience Bartending certificate from a specialized institution and/or equivalent experience Smart Serve certificate Excellent guest service skills Strong organizational and multitasking skills We thank all applicants for their interest, however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted Niagara Casinos is committed to creating an accessible and inclusive environment by providing equal opportunity to candidates of all abilities.
