We are looking for an Installation Electrician to work on a permanent basis for a well-established mechanical engineering Company based in York. We are looking for an Installation Electrician to work on a permanent basis for a well-established mechanical engineering Company based in York. The Package: The basic salary for the Installation Electrician role is between £18.55 ph with overtime uplift Rewards: Time and a half rate - £27.825Double time rate - £37.10Standard rate for the first 39 hours during the week, then x 1.5 for any additional hours during the week. Saturday first 4 hours at x1.5 rate, all additional hours at x 2 rate Sunday x2 rate You will be working basic 39 -hour weeks with high potential for overtime. Average around 40-50 hours Mon-Thurs – 7:30am – 16:00pm Friday – 7:30am – 15:00pm The Role: In the Installation Electrician role you will be based in a factory in York, with some possibility of working at other sites across the UK. You will be tasked with working within food manufacturing environments to the following systems: Installation of cable containment, basket, ladder, tray and conduit. Installation of power and control cabling, SWA, SY, CY, YY. Installation of LV distribution and circuit protection equipment such as distribution boards etc Installation of lighting circuits. Installation of field device cable from control panels to field device equipment. The Candidate: To be the right person for the Installation Electrician role you must be a fully qualified installation electrician It's important that you also have the following: 2391Flexibility to travel and stay over throughout the UK whilst working on client sites Attention to detail Ability to work alone and in a team Full, clean driving licence and own transport Previous food industry experience Desirable Skills IPAF The Company: The company works continuously to build a truly diverse and inclusive workforce and culture.
